The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and in beautiful condition, with three small black transfer marks on the front of the bag (please see photos). The undersides of the handles have creasing. The goldtone hardware is crisp with only hairline surface scratches. The interior is clean and shows no signs of wear.
