This gorgeous Balenciaga Papyrus Lambskin Town Bag is from the 2011 Fall/Winter collection and has a chic shape that is made of distressed lambskin with antique brass hardware. It also has a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap that is long enough to wear across the body. A great bag for any stylish fashionista on-the-go. Please note this bag comes with a tag that states it was originally purchased for $1345. Retail price is $1765.
The exterior leather has softened and shows minor signs of wear throughout. There are surface scratches to the leather. The bottom corners show signs of wear and rubbing. The handles have developed a slightly darker patina and show glazing throughout the edges. The stitched trimming on the handles show signs of wear. The oxidized residue on the aged brass hardware has started to wear off to reveal its true brass color, especially on the rings for the long strap. The long strap has surface scratches throughout and the glazed edges are cracking. The leather tassels throughout the bag have split in half. The interior is clean and in good condition.
