The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior is clean and beautiful with some white scuff marks at the bottom corners and some discoloration marks at the top of the bag near the zip closure. The leather handles and trim are a nice medium honey patina with wear to the corner edges and watermarks on the side leather and handles. The handles have darkened slightly from wear. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches. The interior is clean with a cigarette odor.
