The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior has scuff, scratches, stains, and discolorations. There is wear to the bottom corners and the leather is peeling. The leather strap has turned a dark honey patina has wear and is creasing. The goldtone hardware has scratches, flaking, and discoloration. The interior is clean with the exception of a small pen mark.
