The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but there are minor transfer marks throughout. Along the bottom corner edges there are signs of wear and discoloration. The leather has developed a honey patina with overall water spots. The leather piping has wear throughout and on the right side of the bag has several nicks. The shoulder strap has creasing and wear throughout, as well as dark scuffs on the underside and several small oil stains. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches. The interior is clean and in great condition.
