Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." This gorgeous bag is made of a unique distressed soft iridescent calfskin leather and features a long chain-link strap with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag. Retail price $7300.
The exterior leather is clean but has darkening, rubbing, and wear along the edges, as well as creasing throughout. The strap has light soiling and creasing. The interior has scratches and rubbing under the flap and the lining shows light staining at the base. Overall it is in good, gently used condition with plenty of life left in it.
