The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuitton's trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Made of coated canvas, the Monogram's traditional look is also endured by its durability.

The exterior canvas is clean and beautiful, but the corner edges has some wear and has some rubbing/wear to the glazing. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches and fading. The cards slots under the flap have stretching and is curled. The interior shows wear, light creasing, stretching to the card slots, and there are loose stitches where the flat pocket and the flap top meet. Overall this wallet is still in good condition.
