This Le Dix New Cartable S bag is a newer piece from the house of Balenciaga. "Le Dix", means "The 10" in French, which refers to the address of the original Balenciaga boutique in 10 Avenue George V, Paris. This stunning red calfskin leather bag has a refined and sophisticated feminine shape that would pair well with casual attire or work wear. Gold and silvertone hardware are combined at the base of the top handle and the adjustable, removable leather strap. The interior opens with a logo engraved lift lock to reveal two roomy compartments and a zipper compartment. Retail price is $2025.
The exterior leather is clean and beautiful, but throughout there are a few faint scuff marks visible on a close inspection. The flap top has light creasing to the leather. The hardware has some spots of tarnish as well as hairline surface scratches, but is still bright. The interior has some hairline scuff marks, but otherwise is clean and still in excellent condition.
