Part of Chanel's Fall/Winter 2012 collection, the 'Backpack is Back' bag is a must-have for collectors. An attempt to bring backpacks back into style, the F/W 2012 runway show featured these triangle shaped backpacks in a range of colors and textiles. This rendition is the large size, which has a zip up the middle and a jewel inspired pendant pull. Two flap pockets look like miniature Chanel classic flap bags stuck on the front, with aged ruthenium hardware throughout the bag. The backpack straps are made of the classic chain/leather straps to complete the look . Retail price is $3300.
The exterior leather is clean and beautiful throughout. The leather has softened and shows some light, natural creasing. The interior lining has light signs of use and a perfume scent. Overall the bag remains in very good condition.
