Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." A slight change of pace from the usual Chanel designs, this bag is made of quilted smooth calfskin leather. This particular bag is a newer creation and features an oversized top handle with chain detail. The bag has the classic long goldtone chain-link strap with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag. The bag has the woven chain detail on the edges of the flap as well. Current retail price is $7000.
The bag remains new and unused with the original tag still attached. The interior is clean and overall in excellent condition.
