Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." A slight change of pace from the usual Chanel designs, this bag is made of gorgeous dark champagne gold lambskin leather and bright silvertone closure. Retail price is $4300.
The exterior leather is clean and beautiful throughout with visible rubbing and wear to the bottom and flap corner edges. The vertical quilted leather along the border also has rubbing and signs of wear. The hardware is bright and shiny. The interior lining is clean with a blue pen mark to the underside. The main interior compartment has light wear. Overall the bag remains in good condition.
