Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." A slight change of pace from the usual Chanel designs, this bag is made of gorgeous quilted calfskin leather. This particular bag is from the 2017 Cruise Cuba collection is covered in sequins and embroidery reminiscent of Cuba. It also features a goldtone chain-link strap with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag. Retail price is $5500.
The exterior leather is clean and beautiful throughout with some light soiling at the bottom corners and flap corners. Some of the silver sequins have rubbing and darkening. The interior lining is clean throughout and remains in great condition overall.
