Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." A slight change of pace from the usual Chanel designs, this bag has a unique CC push-lock Boy closure. This particular bag is the original 'medium' size of the collection and features a long ruthenium chain-link strap with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag. This boy bag has a python front and back with gorgeous chain details.
The exterior is clean and beautiful. The leather corners and trim appear to have been re-dyed. The python scales show lifting and light wear. The strap has creasing from gentle use. The interior remains clean and in very good condition overall.
