Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." A slight change of pace from the usual Chanel designs, this bag is made of leather and tweed. This particular bag is the New Medium size of the collection and features a long goldtone metal chain-link strap with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag.
The exterior leather is clean but has rubbing, light soiling and gentle wear to the flap corners and the bottom corners of the bag. The tweed has some pilling and light rubbing, but remains clean. The strap shows soiling, rubbing and creasing. The hardware is bright and crisp. The interior lining shows some wear, light soiling, light staining, and some spots, but otherwise is in good condition.
