This rare and highly desirable rigid jewelry box has the iconic monogram canvas with panda artwork created by Takashi Murakami for this 2005 collection. Designed after the classic jewelry cases, it has the typical brass studded detailing and corners. The trunk latches open to reveal to separate compartments and a hidden mirror! Takashi Murakami designed four separate designs for the jewelry boxes and numbered them individually. This case features the adorable panda design and is numbered 031. The exterior canvas is clean and beautiful throughout. The back of the canvas has worn slightly due to the hinge opening. The golden brass corners are crisp and bright with minor hairline scratches. The leather top handle is still nice and light with some general creasing and faint oil marks. The interior is clean and in excellent condition throughout.
