The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but there are transfer marks along the base. The bottom corner edges have minor wear. The leather has developed a light honey patina, while overall faint water spots are present. The handles have signs of wear from being held. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches, furthermore the goldtone fixtures at the base of the handles has started to loosen at the screws. The interior has creasing, there is slight peeling to the lining, and a faint musk odor is present, but otherwise it is clean and in good condition.
