The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean but shows very minor hairline scratches and some faint scuffing to the bottom corners. The bottom metal feet have hairline scratches. The leather trim has developed a lovely honey patina with minor markings and signs of wear throughout. The handles show some soiling at the top and along the red edges, which have faded. The shoulder strap also shows signs of wear along with residue from the hardware resting against it. The hardware shows surface scratches. The interior has several stains and marks, but is otherwise clean and in great condition.
