The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colours throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful. The leather has developed a night light patina with very faint water spots present throughout. The leather piping along the base of the bag has rubbing. The handles show some very minor wear from being held. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches, but is still bright. The interior is clean and in great condition. Please note that this bag has a "V" stamp with a circle on the interior LV heat stamp, which indicates that this bag was originally purchased by a Louis Vuitton employee.
