Yayoi Kusama is known in the art world for her obsession with dots. Artistic Director Marc Jacobs approached Kusama to design a limited edition collection for Louis Vuitton that interprets the emblematic and unforgettable works for Kusama. From the first installment of the Yayoi Kusama collaboration, the Infinity Dots Vernis Chapeau Coin Purse features the classic Monogram Vernis in a bright red with an overlay of large white polka dots. Retail price is $570.
The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but there are several faint transfer marks throughout. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches. The interior is clean and in great condition.
