The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuitton's trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Made of coated canvas, the Monogram's traditional look is also endured by its durability.

The exterior canvas is clean and beautiful. The leather has developed a light honey patina, but overall there are water spots present. The leather piping has faint signs of rubbing. The leather trim along the zipper shows oil stains and minor soiling (please refer to photos). The handles also show oil stains as well as slight creasing throughout (please refer to photos). The goldtone hardware has surface scratches. The interior is clean and in good condition.
