The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but upon a close inspection, the smooth Vernis base has some faint indentations and scuffs. Furthermore, throughout the bag there are very faint transfer marks. The handles also have very light scuffs. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches, but is still bright. The interior lining has some minor spots, but otherwise is clean and in good condition.
