The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful but does show light hairline scratches and indentations. There are also light smudges throughout the patent leather, which is common in Vernis. The hardware has surface scratches. The interior has some light smudges and faint signs of wear overall, but is otherwise clean and in good condition.
