Marc Jacobs created the Spring/Summer 2012 Transparence line to exude sweetness and lightness, and to celebrate the loveliness of femininity and curves. The Transparence Lockit East/West captures the essence of delicate feminine glamour, with its white calfskin leather trimmings, shiny silver brass hardware, and an embroidered Monogram sheer nylon voile textile. The Transparence collection was a staple in the 2012 Louis Vuitton advertising campaign, which makes this a must-have for any LV collector. Retail price is $3600.
The exterior nylon is clean and beautiful. The bottom corner edges have wear. The metal feet have surface scratches. Throughout the leather trim there is creasing and faint signs of rubbing. The handles have several faint scuff marks. The silvertone hardware is bright and crisp, but there are hairline scratches present. The interior vachetta leather has water spots and oil stains. Otherwise the interior is clean and still in good condition.
