The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but there is minor creasing and tiny stains. The leather has developed a light patina with water spots throughout. The leather piping has minor wear. The shoulder strap has overall creasing ,there are water spots, and minor wear. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches, but is still bright. The interior has scratches and minor marks on the underside of the flap top, but otherwise is clean and in good condition.
