The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but has a few hairline scratches and along the bottom corner edges there is faint wear. Upon close inspection there are a few tiny specks to the vernis. Also, there is a small crease at the base. The metal feet have light fading. The goldtone hardware is bright and crisp with only hairline surface scratches. The handles have a light wear, a small scuff mark, and a tiny pen mark. The interior lining has minor scuffing and wear. but otherwise is clean and still in great condition.
