It features a structured design with removable chain link handles that converts into a clutch and a metal nameplate with logo engraving. The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful. The shoulder strap has light creasing and light wear, while the leather underside has developed a light patina with wear and a few water spots. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches, but is still bright. The interior has some light scuffing, some fading, a few faint spots, and light wear, but otherwise is clean and still in great condition.
