The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. The exterior canvas is clean and beautiful with light creasing throughout. The leather has developed a honey patina with water spots. The leather trim has minor wear and rubbing at the corners. The handles have scuffing , soiling, water spots and scratches with some darkening to the undersides. The hardware has hairline surface scratches, but remains bright and crisp. The interior lining is clean, with a few stains and a musty scent. Overall the bag is still in great condition.
