The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuitton's trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Made of coated canvas, the Monogram's traditional look is also endured by its durability.

The exterior coated canvas is clean and beautiful throughout, but there is wear and rubbing to the corners and the glazing has wear and peeling. The interior leather is clean with significant creasing throughout, pen marks, rubbing and extreme wear throughout. There is also slight pulling of the card slots and in areas the cross grain leather has rubbed away. The interior of the zip coin pocket is bubbling and heavily creased. This wallet has been well loved, but still has a lot of love left in it!
