The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior leather is clean and beautiful throughout but has some scuffing and scratches to the bottom corners and trim. The base has light indentations and the undersides of the handles have light creasing. The hardware is shiny and bright with some scratches. The padlock has some fading. The interior is clean but has light signs of use. Overall the bag remains in very good condition.
