Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." This gorgeous bag is made of distressed leather with suede trim and is the largest size of the collection and features a long chain-link strap with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag. Original retail price was $5000.
The exterior leather shows wear and rubbing to the bottom corner edges. The hardware has hairline scratches. The leather on the strap has creasing and wear with light soiling. The underside of the flap shows scuffing throughout. The main interior is clean and in good condition with some wear and light scuffing
