This particular model was the first line in the reintroduction of Damier Canvas in 1996 when Louis Vuitton celebrated their 100 year anniversary. 100 bags were introduced in this ultra-limited line using natural cowhide handles, straps, and accents instead of traditional Damier which utilized dark chocolate smooth leather, and this Louis Vuitton Limited Edition Centenaire Damier Canvas West End Bag is one of them, stamped 0708 on the front. The West End travel bag has a leather top handle along with a longer leather strap for hands free use.?
The original Louis Vuitton Damier Canvas was originally created in 1888 and was relaunched in 1996 with an entire collection of handbags and small leather goods. Its unique geometric pattern and understated elegance makes this a LV classic and timeless collection.

The exterior Damier canvas is clean and in excellent condition throughout, but has some light creasing throughout. The leather trim throughout the bag has developed a really lovely honey patina with wear, scuffing and water spots throughout. The leather flap shows some water spots and scratches. The shoulder strap also shows soiling and creasing throughout. The hardware has surface scratches and has faded slightly, and the bottom feet have tarnished. The interior shows some general fading from use, as well some spots and light stains. Overall this bag is in good condition, so don't miss out on this rare and limited collectible!
