Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." A slight change of pace from the usual Chanel designs, this bag is made of glossy patent leather. The bag also features a Plexiglas CC. This particular bag was formerly called New Medium size but as of November 2019, Chanel refers to this size as a 'Large.' It features a long chain-link strap with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag. Please note this bag was purchased in 2015 for $5200. Current retail price is $5400.
The exterior is clean and beautiful with light wear and rubbing at the bottom corners and flap corners.. The hardware is bright and crisp, but has minor hairline scratches. The interior is clean and in great condition with faint signs of wear and light scuffing to the under side of the flap.
