Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." A slight change of pace from the usual Chanel designs, this bag is made lambskin leather. This particular bag is the Old Medium size of the collection and features a long chain with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag. Current retail for the quilted medium style is $4900.
The exterior leather is clean and beautiful throughout. The bag has been re-dyed by the previous owner and has minor soiling to the corners and flap corners. The leather shoulder pad has light creasing. The interior has soiling and signs of use. Overall the bag remains in very good condition.
