The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but shows some smudging due to the nature of vernis and has some hairline scratches. The corners show light wear. The goldtone hardware shows surface scratches and fading. The interior shows wear, scuffing, creasing, and stretching to the card slots, but otherwise is in good condition.
