Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." A slight change of pace from the usual Chanel designs, this bag is made of dark blue (color code: 2B767) colored lambskin leather. This particular bag is the medium size of the collection and features a long antique ruthenium chain-link strap with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag. Please note, this bag was purchased in 2016 for $4700. Current retail price is $4900.
The exterior leather is clean and beautiful throughout with minor rubbing to the bottom corner edges. The underside of the flap has very minor scuff marks. The main interior is clean and remains overall in excellent condition.
