Like many Hermes pieces, the Hermes Arceau watch was inspired by the elegance of horses. This sophisticated yet playful watch features slanted silver numerals which poetically signify the passing of time. The 43mm polished stainless steel Arceau features subtle details that were originally designed by Henri d'Origny in 1978, such as asymmetric bracelet attachments that take their shape from stirrups, of course. Blue sword hands mark the seconds and each of the chronograph dials. The date window sits between the 4 and 5. A stunning brown leather strap that opens with a steel folding clasp or a tang buckle completes this piece for any stylish man or woman. Retail price is $7100.
The watch remains clean and beautiful throughout. The case is bright but has hairline surface scratches. The leather strap has some darkening and soiling from gentle use. Overall it remains in good condition.
