The Louis Vuitton Cup is a yachting competition sponsored by Louis Vuitton for the America's Cup. In 2002, Louis Vuitton released a line in honor of the race being held in Auckland, New Zealand. This collection was only sold at the races and therefore, extremely rare. Damier Geant canvas in eye-catching green/yellow holds the "Louis Vuitton Cup" logo at the front. This Limited Edition America Cube bag is a once in a lifetime opportunity, a must for any LV collector! Retail price is $1020.
The exterior canvas is clean and beautiful with faint discoloration on top. Also, there is a stain near the base of the strap. The leather has developed a light patina, but overall faint water spots are present. The leather base of the bag has scuff marks and wear as well as some light creasing. The handles have light wear and light scuffing. The strap has light creasing. The hardware has surface scratches, but does remain bright. The interior lining has light wear and a faint stain at the base of the interior, but otherwise the interior overall remains clean and in good condition.
