Inspired by their rich history of trunk making, the Louis Vuitton Petite Malle beautifully mixes the skilled craftsmanship of trunk construction with the effortless style of a modern day fashionista's crossbody bag. This adorable Petite Malle ("Mini Trunk") was a part of Nicholas Ghesquiere's Fall 2014 collection for Louis Vuitton, which was his first as Creative Director. It uses trunk construction, golden brass detailing, and a signature Louis Vuitton engraved S-lock to create a look that is unmistakably LV but still refined and modern. The three X's pay homage to the signature of the traveler, philanthropist, and photographer Albert Khan, who curated the largest collection of colored auto chromes in the world of a journey through India in the 20th and 21st century.
