The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.
The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful but there is rubbing and wear to the corners and edges. The leather has developed a dark honey patina with water spots and soiling throughout. The strap and handles have wear and creasing to the leather and the glazing has cracking and wear. The interior is clean and in good condition with light wear and a few faint spots.
