The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean, however there is light creasing and scuffs visible on the bag. The bottom corners show rubbing and wear. The leather has developed a honey patina with water spots. The handles have darkened and creased from use. The shoulder strap has creasing from the buckle, fading and light rubbing throughout. The hardware has surface scratches and the bottom metal feet have fading. The interior is clean but has some spots and light signs of use.
