The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean throughout with rubbing at the bottom corners. The leather trim and strap have developed a medium honey patina with water spots and light rubbing. The strap and handles are clean with creasing throughout, but there is light wear to the glazing on both. The hardware is bright with surface scratches and the bottom metal feet have fading at the centers. The interior is clean with signs of rubbing and light wear throughout.
