The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.
The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful but does have a few scuffs and small spots. The handles have light rubbing and the strap has minor creasing. The hardware remains bright with fine hairline surface scratches and the bottom metal feet have fading at the centers. The interior lining is has soiling, spots and wear throughout.
