Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel. "This particular bag is the small size of the collection and features a long antique chain-link strap with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag. Current retail price is $5400.
The exterior leather is clean and beautiful throughout. There is some rubbing to the bottom corner edges and flap corners. The hardware is bright and crisp with minor, hairline surface scratches. The strap is lightly creased. The interior is clean throughout with light signs of use and minor scuff marks to the underside of the flap. Overall the bag remains in great condition.
