The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis shows light scuffing, wear, and some pen marks. The glazing has some light cracking at the bend of the wallet. The goldtone press stud has faded entirely. The goldtone hardware otherwise has surface scratches. The interior lining has scuff marks, light stretching to the card slots, and rubbing inside the coin pocket.
