The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. The exterior coated canvas sis clean throughout. The strap and trim have developed a medium honey patina with soiling at the bottom corners and some wear along the opening. The strap has water spots and signs of use. The hardware is bright and shiny with hairline surface scratches. The interior is clean and remains in very good condition overall.
