This fabulous Dauphine MM bag is the predecessor of the modern Dauphin. It is a cute and compact bag, crafted from Monogram canvas and trimmed with brown calfskin leather. The bag has a flap top with shiny brass LV lock and roomy interior that is perfect for everyday use. Current retail price is $2870.
The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuitton's trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Made of coated canvas, the Monogram's traditional look is also endured by its durability.

The exterior coated canvas is clean with light rubbing. The leather trim has heavy rubbing, wear and there is scuff throughout. The glazed edges throughout the bag have rubbing, wear and damage. The shoulder strap has heavy rubbing and creasing and the glazing has wear and cracking throughout. The hardware is bright with scuffing and scratches. The interior leather has scuffing, rubbing and wear throughout. There is a tear to the leather on the underside of the flap next to the stamping. Overall this bag has been well loved.
