The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.
The exterior Vernis has smudging, scuffing and light wear throughout. The bottom corners show wear and rubbing. The base shows wear and scratches. The handles have light rubbing. The goldtone hardware shows fading to the bottom metal feet and hairline scratches. The interior has light rubbing and creasing to the lining, but remains clean.
