The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuitton's trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Made of coated canvas, the Monogram's traditional look is also endured by its durability.
The exterior leather is clean throughout but has softened slightly, shows creasing, and has rubbing to the bottom corners. The monogram canvas is clean and smooth. The strap is lightly creased but the handles are free of wear. The hardware is bright and shiny with surface scratches. The interior is clean but has a few white marks and a slight food smell. Overall the bag remains in very good condition.
