The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.
The exterior Vernis has smudging throughout which is common for patent leather. The bottom smooth trim has rubbing and scuffing at the edges. The handles remain clean with light creasing to the undersides and there is light soiling at the base from the hardware. The shoulder strap has creasing but remains clean. The hardware has surface scratches and fading to the bottom metal feet. The interior lining is clean with light spots.
