The Louis Vuitton Veau Cachemire Calfskin Leather Soft Lockit Bag is the current update of the iconic Lockit, first introduced in the 1950's. Dramatically reinterpreted with rigid handles and a more structured shape with shiny palladium hardware and luxurious Alcantara lining. Composed of soft Veau Cachemire calfskin leather in this eye-catching Clementine color. This bag is as sophisticated as it is modern. Retail price is $4250.
The exterior leather is clean and beautiful with some minor slouching to the sides and light rubbing at the corners. The leather of the handles and shoulder strap remain clean, but the glazing has melted and shows heavy wear, cracking and areas of missing glazing throughout both. The glazing from the handles and shoulder strap have left black stains throughout the bag, around the zipper opening and to the base. The hardware is bright and crisp with only hairline surface scratches. The interior has some light rubbing and a noticeable perfume scent.
